Lakeside Christian Church of Shell Knob

Lakeside Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian church located next to beautiful Table Rock Lake in Shell Knob, Mo.
The best way to describe our Church body is Love:
We love serving and sharing the love of Jesus with the children of Shell Knob and their families.
We love inviting our neighbors to our annual Thanksgiving and Easter and Christmas Eve services
But we mostly love introducing people, young and old, to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Purpose:
Lakeside Christian Church was established for the purpose of "bringing people to Jesus Christ and Membership in His family, developing them to Christ-like Maturity, and equipping them for their Ministry in the church and life Mission in the world, in order to Magnify God's name." Our purpose statement reflects both the Great Commandment (Mathew 22:37-38) and the Great Commission (Mathew 28:18-20).

our pastors:
David Prestridge serves as the Lead Pastor at Lakeside Christian Church. He and his wife, Tracy, have been married for 20 years and are parents to four children. Originally from Florida, they were trained at Florida Christian College and share a deep passion for evangelism and discipleship for all ages. Their ministry has taken them throughout the United States in places like inner-city Los Angeles, and even globally in Crimea, Ukraine.
Most recently, David and Tracy have been praying for God’s will to be done on earth and specifically in Shell Knob as it is in heaven. David and Tracy have experience in children’s ministry, youth ministry, and serving inner-city and rural communities. David considers his greatest strengths to be encouragement, prayer, and listening, and he loves telling stories that bring glory to God. Above all, he is committed to following God’s will and allowing God to create testimonies through him and his family that only He can take credit for. Grounded in the principles of the Restoration Movement, David and his family are devoted to living a lifestyle of reconciliation as they continue to seek God’s guidance.

Greg Armstrong
Youth Pastor
Greg Armstrong is a passionate youth pastor dedicated to inspiring and guiding the next generation on their spiritual journey and discovering who they are in Jesus. Greg joined Lakeside as the youth pastor in the Summer of 2024. Greg focuses on creating a welcoming and engaging environment where young people can explore their faith, build meaningful relationships, and develop their leadership skills. Greg holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Greg enjoys making sound biblical principles relatable to young people by creating real-life examples that can be applied in a very practical way. Outside the church, he enjoys time on the lake with his wife, Lisa, and their boys.
